Harvel Lee Hardin, of Rock Run, passed away Thursday, April 26 at St. Vincents East in Birmingham.

Funeral service will be 7:PM Sunday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Lewis Conaway officiating; burial will be in Bethel Cemetery 10:AM Monday. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:PM Sunday.

Survivors include son, Gaylon (Dorothy) Hardin of Trussville; Grandchildren, Jason (Leslie) Hardin and Jeremy Hardin. He was preceded in death by wife Nell Bishop Hardin.

Mr. Hardin was a native of Cherokee County, son of the late George Lee Hardin and Elizabeth Conaway, was a retired iron worker and a member of Rock Run Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Run Baptist Church.
