Mr. Tommy Parker Kent Jr. age 79 of Cedar Bluff passed away Saturday at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 3 P.M. Wednesday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Autry Barnhill officiating; Burial will follow in New Testament Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include: wife, Charlotte Knight Kent, Cedar Bluff, sons, Ron (Anna) Kent, Sand Rock, and Steve (Anita) Kent, Fort Worth TX, sisters, Iris (Ben) Newman, Augusta GA, and Betty Brassel, New York, NY; grandchildren, Savanna Kent, Breannah Kent, Julian Kent, Andrew Kent, Damon Kent, Brenna Kent, Jan Kent and Rowan Kent; several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Kent was a native of Augusta, GA, the son of the late Tommy Parker and Mary Ruth Kent, Sr., was a retired supervisor at Chi-Vit Corp. and was a member of Jesus New Covenant Church.
