Bill Douglas Jones, age 62 of Leesburg, passed away Friday, May 11th at his residence.

The Memorial service for Mr. Jones will be 3: PM Sunday May 27th at Shady Grove Baptist Church, county road 5 in Pollards Bend.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family also requests no food.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Jones; daughter, Adrea Jones (Alei) Mageo of Hinesville, GA; step-son, Clint Bradley of Centre; step-daughters, Crissy (Jeromy) Swindall of Ballplay and Denise Gilley of Glencoe; grandchildren, Jayden Trotter of Hinesville and Jaxon Mageo of Hinesville; 7 step-grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Cagle and Jean Young of Ballplay; several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

He was a native of Etowah County, son of the late Travis & Ruby Gilbert Jones, was shop foreman at James Grain for 26 years and was of the Baptist Faith.
