Griffin Samuel Owens, infant son of Josh and Jenna Hosey Owens of Leesburg, passed away Tuesday, June 26th in U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 A.M. at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Kisor officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Friday.

Other survivors include grandparents, Rev. Scott and Tammy Hosey of Sand Rock and Mechelle Bayne of Geraldine; great-grandparents, James and Joyce Gilliland of Centre, Herman Glass of Leesburg and Dot Hosey of Leeds; 2 uncles; 3 aunts and several cousins.

Griffin was born October 11, 2011 and was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judy Hosey; grandfather, Sam Bayne; and great-grandparents, Delores Glass and Reid Hosey.
