Mrs. Flossie Mae Smith, 93 of Centre, passed away Saturday May 3, 2014 in the Cherokee Health & Rehab Center.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 7 P.M. at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Pollard and Rev. Eugene Burgess officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 10 A.M at Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Monday.
Memorials may be made to Cherokee Health & Rehab station 1 or the family will accept flowers.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include all employees of Cherokee Health & Rehab.
Survivors include a son, John Smith of Cedar Bluff; daughters, Ann (James) Witt of Leesburg and Becky (Sammy) Scott of Centre; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Jake and Ruth Anthony Grimes and was a Baptist by faith.
