James Edward Steele, age 66 of Piedmont, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022. The funeral service will be held 3 pm Friday, April 29th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Crane officiating, the family will receive friends from 1 pm until the time of service. Burial will follow at Youngs Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Michael Little, Buck Pruitt, Colton Crane, Nicholas Pruitt, Heath Kiser, and Dakota Deberry, Michael Reed. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Gail Steele; daughter, Kimberly Parker; granddaughter, Alexis Waldrop, (Kristina Butler).sister, Kathy Kiser (Harvey); sister-in-laws, Glenda Handley, Misty Phillips, Christy Weaver; brother-in-law, Billy Wayne Patterson (Linda); chosen granddaughters, Serenity, Infinity and Grace, nephews Chris Kiser, Heath Kiser, Bradley Kiser Mr. Steele was a native of Centre, Alabama, he was the son of the late, Voyd Edward and Lessie Elizabeth Steele and he was of the Baptist faith.
