Roger Allen Doegg, age 56 of Sand Rock, passed away Thursday, May 6th at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA. Funeral services will be 2:PM Monday, May 10th at Old Nazareth Baptist Church, with Barry Rogers, Jr. and Josh Bryant officiating; burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:30 PM Monday, at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Scott Farrar, Dennis Gaylor, Herschel Houston, Ramey Waters, Jeff Defoor, Courtlin Brooks, Zack Gaylor. Survivors include son Cary (Reagan) Weaver of Leesburg; sisters, Pat Green of Centre and Brenda (Ken) Woodall of Centre; grandson, Jaxon Weaver. Mr. Doegg was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Ernest A. and Mary E. Pledger Doegg. He was a loan manager at Advance America and was a member of Old Nazareth Baptist Church.
