Scottie Wayne Smith, age 55 of Centre, passed away Monday, February 7th at his residence. A Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 13th 2022 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Kisor officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, LaGina Smith; parents, Charles William Smith and Frances Diane Smith; son, Michael Wayne Smith; step-sons, Toby Pannell (Kayla), James Pannell (Victoria); sister, Tonya Smith (Richard); grandchildren, Brayden Smith, Brody Smith, Kinsleigh Smith, Paislee Smith, Jacob Pannell, Mia Pannell, Adilynn Stone, Marleigh Stone, Jaxon Pannell; soon-to-be granddaughter, Grace Pannell. Mr. Smith was a native of Smyrna, GA; he worked as a saw mill worker, and was of the Baptist faith. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association.
