Mr. Wendall Kent Glover was born to the union of Leonard Tryce and Hazel Glover on August 3, 1960 in Cherokee County, Alabama. Kent was educated in the Cherokee County School System and graduated in 1978. Shortly after graduation Kent joined the Air Force and served most of his time in Korea. He was employed by various employers during his younger years until his health began to fail. Kent married Earnestine Croft in 1994. To this union one child was born, son Joshua. Kent was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Earnestine Glover; son, Joshua Glover; stepson, Nicolas Walker; adopted children, Amanda (Gerald) Pruiett, Julia Pruiett; grandchildren, Ja’Khori McKenzie, Korben Glover, Khasia Glover; mother, Hazel (Michael) Smith, Ballplay, AL; step-mother, Rev. Patsy Glover, Farrell, AL; sisters, Crystal Denise (Jesus) Renturia, Horton, AL; Regina McClellan, Dogtown, AL; Kimberly MCClellan, Mesquite, Texas; brother, Steve (Amie) Glover; uncle, Earl (Anne) Glover, Rome, GA; aunts, Beverly Reed, Fairfield, AL, Bobbie Glover, Centre, AL; nieces and nephews, and a wealth of cousins. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 1:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
